I am a stipendiary lecturer in Spanish at the University of Oxford, where I recently completed my DPhil on the translational poetics of Argentine poets Alejandra Pizarnik and Susana Thénon. My research more broadly exmaines questions of translation, multilingualism, gender and sexuality in Latin American literature and visual culture. My next project considers poetry translation as a form of political solidarity in 1960s Latin America. I am also a literary translator from Spanish, and my work has recently appeared in World Poetry Review, Poetry Northwest and Asymptote.
I was previously co-convenor of the OCCT Discussion Group.
