I am a DPhil student based at St Anne's College, Oxford. Focusing on an original comparison of the works of Clarice Lispector and Virginia Woolf, my current primary research project explores how concepts from the physical sciences can enrich interpretations of modernist literatures, and thereby strengthen and develop theories surrounding posthumanism, dark ecology, and planetarity.
Prior to pursuing my DPhil, I gained an MPhil in European, Latin American, and Comparative Literatures and Cultures from the University of Cambridge, a PhB Bachelor of Philosophy (Hons) from the Australian National University, and a Diploma of Languages (Mandarin) from the Australian National University. I have also been a visiting student at National Taiwan University, Uppsala University, and Peking University.
